Who we are
A family restaurant with Kerala at its heart
Thakazhi Peedika is a family restaurant in Marappalam, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram. We cook Kerala-inspired food, from biryani and kappa to parotta specials, curries, fish and sweet little things for the end of a meal, and serve it in a relaxed place where families can sit together.
Our name comes from the Malayalam word peedika, a small, welcoming place to gather. That is the idea we keep returning to: good food and an easy welcome.
